Engineering Jobs: Required Qualification

i) Full-time Regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology Unre 65% of total marks for non-UR (UR) and Other Backward Class (OBC) and 55% marks for SC / ST / PWD category all semester/year, any particular semester by institute/university. Regardless of the weight assigned to / year (total maximum marks and total marks earned for the total year/semester), The sum will be added to reach the total percentage.

ii) Candidates in the final year of their engineering may also apply. However, their cases will be considered only if they pass the above examination with the required percentage at the time of or before their personal interview.

iii) All qualifications must belong to a recognized government. Universities / Institutes, UGC Accredited Universities and Institutions / UGC Approved Indian Deemed Universities or AICTE Approved Course Autonomous Institutions / Related Legal Councils (where applicable).

iv) Wherever the degree of CGPA / OGPeter letter is given in the degree, an equivalent percentage of marks should be mentioned in the online application form as per the criteria adopted by the University / Institution. In this regard, the candidate is required to submit a certificate from the University / Institution at the time of personal interview.

v) A candidate with a full time prescribed degree for the following branches can apply for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) in the respective discipline only.

Engineering Jobs: Age Limit

The upper age limit is 30 years on 20/03/2020 which means that candidates who were born before 20/03/1990 are not required to apply.

Engineering Jobs: Selection Process

A) The selection process is using the graduate qualification test in NALCO ENGINEERING-2020.

B) For the recruitment of graduate engineer trainees (GET) in the above subjects (GATE-1 score) only the GATE-2020 score is valid for this recruitment process. Based on the GATE-1 score and organizational requirements, the candidates for the personal interview will be listed below.

C) If you are eligible to apply for the post of GET’s at the above branch in NALCO, they may have appeared in Gate-1.

D) Candidates with engineering degrees in any other discipline/subject other than those mentioned above are not eligible to apply.

E) On the basis of valid score and organizational requirements of GATE-2020, the candidates will be listed on merit for a personal interview of the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee (GETS) in the above subjects. The score is valid only if the candidate has scored GATE-2020 above or above the eligibility score for the above documents. The eligibility marks for the gate exams will be based on the criteria adopted by the operators of GATE-2020.

Engineering Jobs: Compensation Package

a) Selected candidates will be placed in the pay category of pay scale of Rs. 40,000/- 3% – 1,40,000/- during the one year training. Upon successful completion of the training, ie for implementing other criteria related to the required performance of the company and revised from time to time it will be Rs. Engineering Jobs: Reservations And Relaxations

i) Reservation / Leisure for SC / ST / OBC (Non-creamy Level) / EWS / PWD (Degree 40% or more of the Disability as per Government guidelines) candidates are applicable.

ix) The OBC (Non-creamy Layer) Certificate is required to be listed in the Central List of Other Backward Classes. Further, OBC candidates will be given their own initiative if they are shown in the OBC (non-creamy layer) category during the personal interview.

x) The upper age limit is limited to 5 years for SC / ST, 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer), 10 years for PWD-un-reserved (UR), 10 years for PWD-OBC (13 non-creamy). Level) and 15 years for PWD-SC / ST candidates. O Generally, candidates of the age of age shall be exempt from age five years.

Engineering Jobs: Service Agreement Bond

The selected candidates will have to sign the contract upon joining in accordance with the Apprenticeship Apprenticeship Act and on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 1,500/- service to the Company for a period of at least 4 (four) years after successful completion of one-year training.

Engineering Jobs: Medical Fitness

Candidates aspiring for employment in NALCO are required to be medically fit in accordance with NALCO’s criteria and standards for medical fitness. The selected candidates will have to undergo a medical examination from the recognized hospitals / diagnostic centers of the company in Bhubaneswar.

Upon receipt of the medical report, the authorized medical officer shall declare the candidate suitable or ineligible or temporarily ineligible based on the medical criteria prescribed by the NALCO Medical Examination Rules.

Engineering Jobs: Application Fee

How to make a payment

Stape – I

i) Go to Nalco’s career page at www.nalcoindia.com.

ii) Read the Advertisement carefully to confirm eligibility.

iii) Click Apply Now Click on Make Payment, which will redirect you to SBI’s State Bank Collect Page, which has been authorized to submit application fee/processing fee on behalf of NALCO.

iv) Select “Odisha” under Corporate / Institution state and “PSU Public Sector” under Corporate / Institution types.

v) Select the payment category and select the applicable “NALCO GET Recruitment-2020 (for UR / OBC / EWS)” or “NALCO GET Recruitment-2020 (SC / ST / PWD / DEPTT.).”

vi) Fill out the gate registration. Number, name, discipline, category, date of birth,

vii) Open and submit the Registered Email ID and Mobile Number on the Payment Portal.

viii) Make sure the same email id and mobile number details are used throughout the registration process. Next screen- A confirmation page will be displayed with all the details entered by the candidate.

ix) Ensure accuracy before making payments.

x) Click “Confirm” now to go to Payment Gateway.

xi) NALCO or SBI will not be liable if any candidate has submitted a fee with incorrect details; Separate gate registration number, etc.

xii) Payment can be made using one of the available options e.g. Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card Please note that NALCO will bear bank charges if any.

xiii) Upon successful payment, an e-receipt will be created in PDF format.

xiv) The candidate will be prompted to print the e-receipt with the SB Collection Reference Number. Remember the reference number you need during Step-3 of the final registration process.

xv) The e-receipt can then be created/printed with the “Payment History” option available in the State Bank Collect. If the candidate does not finally submit the application with valid payment details, the application will be considered incomplete and rejected. NALCO will not be responsible for it.

Step-2:

i) Once paid, the State Bank must submit the reference number and due date for filling in the NALCO online application form on the Career page of the website in order to be able to access the details in the main application form.

ii) In case of incorrect submission, any request for editing of payment details and issue of call letter will be made and candidature will be rejected.

Engineering Jobs: How to Apply

A) Candidates will fill the online application form with the required details and click on the View application form. Candidates will be given the opportunity to edit their application before final submission. Candidates should again check the application for correct information and edit the required details and click on the last submission. After submitting the online application, the candidate should print out the above application for future reference.

B) Candidates are required to ensure that the GATE-2020 registration number, which is the GATE-2020 entry form is correctly filled out. The name should be filled in as soon as it appears in the GATE-2 admit card. No request was made in respect of any change in any of the data entered by the candidate upon successful submission of the online application.

C) Upon successful submission, a unique application number will be generated and sent to the registered email id as well as the mobile number and will have to be sent for future correspondence. Selection will be made through written exams and interviews for Scientific and ‘B’ posts
Scientific / Technical Assistant – Through Written Examination for ‘A’ Post.

All Eligible Candidates Successfully Submit Online Application for Scientist-‘B ‘, and Scientific / Technical Assistant – with required fees and will be called “screened” A ” written exam. The written exam will be the hours of hours taken in English only medium.

The written test will be based on the objective type and OMR.

The written exam question paper will cover 65% of the technical questions 35% from the area and general area. There will be a total of 120 objective types of questions 78 questions from the technical field (computer science) and 42 questions from the generic field.

Common areas are logical reasoning, analytical reasoning ability, Quantitative and qualitative ability and general aptitude.

Courses for the technical field (Computer related subjects: Computer Science / Computer Engineering) the contracts are given in Annexure ‘A’.

Each question will have 1 (one) mark and 0.25 score negative signs for each wrong answer.

The minimum percentage to qualify for the written exam will be 50% for General / EWS, while 40% for OBC, 30% for SC / ST / PWD category. Specified cut-off points will apply in total marks (e.g. technical/generic combined) as well as for each section (Technical / general) independently.

Only Scientist – Shortlisted candidates for ‘B’ position (on the basis of quality posts and Reservation policy, etc.) Those who have passed the written test will be called for an interview.

The final selection of the eligible candidates will be based on the scientific ‘B’ position on the combined performance of the candidates both in written exam and interview and verification of documents submitted by the candidates. The weight-age of the score for writing the exam and interview will be in the ratio of 85:15. Attending an interview is a mandatory choice.

The final selection of qualified candidates for scientific/technical post Assistant – ‘A’ will be based on the quality position from the candidates’ performance.

V) Document Verification:

The required documents will be verified at the interview Scientific term – ‘B’.

Citizenship:-

Reservation:-

(iii) The revenue officer is not below the rank of tahsildar.

(iv) The candidate and/or his / her sub-divisional officer in that area the family usually lives.

Closed dates for age, qualifications, and experience:

The cutoff date for calculating age as well as eligibility criteria in terms of qualifications and experience required will be 30/04/2020 if applicable the deadline to submit the application will remain unchanged even if it is extended.
